The Campomaccione is a wine born on the estate of the same name, from the desire of the Zingarelli family to explore an area where the winemaking tradition has ancient roots. The dry and hilly terrain, combined with the warm and generally dry climate of the area, favor the good ripening of the grapes, while the salty air from the sea is essential for the development of peculiar aromatic characteristics that are transferred from the grapes to the wine.
WINERY
Produced with grapes harvested at the optimal ripening moment, originating from the Campomaccione estate in the Province of Grosseto, owned by the Zingarelli Family since 1998. After vinification at controlled temperature and maturation in steel and concrete tanks, the wine is bottled to be ready in the spring following the harvest.
